2019 CSPB-ASPB Joint Workshop: Meeting with Academic Employers from China
Sincerely interested in pursuing a faculty position in China? Then ASPB and our sibling society in China, the Chinese Society for Plant Biology, can help! On Saturday August 3, 2019 at Plant Biology 2019 the two societies are convening a unique networking event and luncheon. The workshop will allow conference attendees to engage with representatives of eight major research universities and institutions in China that are or soon will be recruiting faculty.
Space is limited, so please review the information from the participating institutions (hyperlink to descriptions) and if you are interested in participating, you may submit your materials here (Teresa/Crispin – not sure how you want to handle this). Selected participants – typically postdocs and current faculty who are or soon will be looking to fill entry-level or higher-level faculty positions at world-class institutions – will also have the opportunity to engage via pre-workshop activities in Plantae and post-summit in-person interviews and conversations throughout the Plant Biology conference that explore specific positions and the benefits of working at sponsoring institutions.
Joint Workshop Participants

Workshop activities begin promptly at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, so make your travel plans and hotel accommodations accordingly.
