The ISPR meeting From Light to Life will be coordinated with Plant Biology 2018, the annual meeting of the American Society of Plant Biology being held jointly with the Canadian Society for Plant Biology to be held in Montreal, Canada from July 14 to 18, 2018 at the Montreal Convention Center (Palais des congrès de Montréal). The ISPR meeting will overlap with Plant Biology 18 for 1.5 days and continue for a further two days in the Westin Hotel across the street for a total for ISPR of 3.5 days from July 17 to July 20, 2018.

Participants in the ISPR-only meeting are encouraged to arrive Monday evening. Tuesday morning will see joint concurrent sessions between ISPR, ASPB and CSPB. Sessions will cover CO2 sensing and ion channels in stomata and photosynthesis and light reactions and light harvesting.

Tuesday Afternoon will have a joint ASPB/CSPB/ISPR Plenary Session on “Ecophysiology: Leaf to Global Scale” featuring Elizabete Carmo-Silva, Joy Ward, Larry Flanagan, and Joe Berry.

ISPR Poster sessions will be held Wednesday and Thursday from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. Awards for best posters by students and post-docs will be announced Friday at lunch (Lunch both Thursday and Friday are included in the registration fee).

The meeting will conclude after lunch on Friday.
