If you are a member of the Canadian Society of Plant Biologists, Indian Society of Plant Physiology or the Japanese Society of Plant Physiology, you qualify for the member rate for registration. There is a discount code you will need to obtain from your organization in order to receive the member pricing.
If you live in a country classified as either low income or low middle income by the World Bank, a 25% discount will automatically be applied to your registration.

Plant Biology 2026 Ottawa Cancellation Policy
- Written Notice Required: All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to the conference registration team at info@aspb.org.
- Refunds & Penalties: See below for the amount of the administrative fee that will be charged based on the date the request is received and registration type.
- Prior to (early registration deadline): Full refund minus the below administrative fee.
- Professional level – $50
- Postdoc, graduate student, K-12 Educator and Retired: $30
- Undergraduate: $20
- (early registration deadline to May 31): Full refund minus the below administrative fee.
- Professional level – $85
- Postdoc, graduate student, K-12 Educator and Retired: $45
- Undergraduate: $30
- Starting June 1, 2026: No refund will be issued.
- Prior to (early registration deadline): Full refund minus the below administrative fee.
- Substitutions: Registrants may transfer their registration to another individual.
- The substitute attendee must be at the same or cheaper registration level (professional, post-doc, graduate student) as the original attendee.
- No refunds for the difference in price will be issued.
- Submit transfer requests to info@aspb.org at least 7 days prior to the conference.
- The substitute attendee must be at the same or cheaper registration level (professional, post-doc, graduate student) as the original attendee.
- Due to staffing constraints, refunds may not be issued until after the conference.
- No-Shows: Attendees who do not show up and do not provide written notice are not eligible for a refund.
