Parents and children are welcome at and encouraged to attend Plant Biology 2022. The Oregon Convention Center offers family restrooms as well as private, secure Mamava nursing suites. The suites sync with the Mamava mobile app, or access can be gained through Convention Center receptionists or by phone.
“I brought my 6-week-old to PB 2012 in Austin. My mom traveled with me, so I did not need to find childcare on site. Austin has a very large conference center, and we always were able to find a quiet space to nurse. In the evenings, I would bring him to the poster session.”
