ASPB has secured a room block at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach. Hilton Hawaiian Village is a large complex right on Waikiki, a public beach, and within walking distance of the Hawaii Convention Center. Note: This is one of the only hotels in the area with direct beach access! In addition, there are many food options on property and within walking distance.

Attendees of Plant Biology 2024 are encouraged to book at the conference hotel. The hotel contract (signed in 2017) provides Plant Biology attendees with a group rate that is well below what non-meeting attendees would pay. We understand that attendees have many lodging options, and ASPB works hard to negotiate the best hotel rates and keep participants’ expenses, registration fees, and hotel rooms for the meeting as low as possible. Meeting registration fees and reserving your room at the conference hotel help to support not only the 2024 event, but also future meetings.

Roommate Finder

The Roommate Finder Bulletin Board closed as of May 15, 2024.

All attendees are encouraged to book at the conference hotel, the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort.

ASPB will not assign roommates. The bulletin board was developed for attendees to connect and find potential roommates. It is up to the roommates to book the reservation and pay the required fees upon check-out. Arrange directly with the hotel how the bill will be split among roommates.

Please note: Plant Biology does not utilize third-party vendors for housing. Beware unsolicited emails claiming to be travel booking sites affiliated with Plant Biology.
